MEDICAL SUB-SPECIALIST:  VASCULAR SURGERY (1 POST) – REFERENCE NO.:  H/M/2

SALARY:  R 1 151 088.00 per annum. OSD

CENTRE:  UNIVERSITAS ACADEMIC HOSPITAL, BLOEMFONTEIN

REQUIREMENTS:

The applicant must be registered with the HPCSA as a Medical Sub-Specialist in Vascular Surgery. South African Citizen with valid driver’s license (Code 8).

RECOMMENDATIONS:

ACLS, ATLS, APLS, relevant experience. Experience in research and experimental vascular surgery. Commitment to enroll in or registration for a PhD. Academic teaching and surgical training experience. Candidates that are due to complete in October 2017 are encouraged to apply.

DUTIES:

Clinical service delivery, medical administration and management, teaching, training and research. The candidate will also have to participate in outreach activities and commuted overtime. Maintain compliance to the National Core Standards.
