Masters in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery
ChM in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery: Deadline for applications: August August 2016. Course start date: September 2016.
This 2 – 4 year, part-time Masters programme in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, taught entirely online, is offered by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the University of Edinburgh.
Based on the Intercollegiate Surgical Curriculum in Great Britain and Ireland, the programme is designed to be directly relevant to day-to-day vascular practice and support learning to the level of that required to negotiate successfully the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) examination. The programme supports the professional and academic development of the vascular surgeon. Core and specialist academic modules provide a toolkit for critically appraising and conducting research of the surgeon in independent vascular practice.
Trainees will be taught by experienced tutors, all leading clinicians in their field, and will have access to a large structured learning resource of educational material, including an unparalleled online library facility. Illustrative cases will cover technical skills and procedures as well as core knowledge and clinical skills.
The course is open to General Surgical and Vascular specialty trainees and consultants. Applications from allied vascular specialities are also invited.
