WELCOME TO THE DRAKENSBERG FOR THE VASSA
2008 MEETING!
|
The annual meeting of the Vascular Society of Southern Africa
will take place at the Champagne Sports Resort, Central
Drakensberg from the 9 -12 October 2008.
This year the meeting will be held in association with the South
African Endovascular Working Group (SAEWG) and the
Interventional Radiology Society of South Africa. A workshop on
Vascular Access for hemodialysis will also be part of the
programme.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide a forum for the exchange
of ideas, research and approaches to the diagnosis and
management of vascular surgical diseases, with specific reference
to Southern African conditions.
A comprehensive scientific programme is being prepared to
enable delegates to update their knowledge and experience. It
is also hoped that the opportunity will exist for delegates to meet
old friends and to make new acquaintances.
A large International Faculty of distinguished academics and
lecturers will attend and contribute to the scientific value of the
meeting and to give this event a true international flavour.
