General Information

| REGISTRATION |
Please complete the registration form and return, together with your credit card details or cheque
for the total amount for registration to the Congress Office, as soon as possible. The registration
fee includes attendance at all scientific sessions, welcome evening, braai and gala dinner.
Half off the registration fee will be forfeited on cancellations received before 30th June 2008. No
refunds will be made after this date. Substitute delegates will be accepted.
Note : Registrars / Medical Officers. In case of inability to attend due to roster duties, the registration
fee is fully refundable provided notice is given 14 days prior to the Congress and signed by the Head
of Department / Hospital.
The Organising Committee reserves the right to change or amend the academic or social programme
at their discretion.

| ACCOMMODATION ARRANGEMENTS |
|
You are responsible for your own accommodation arrangements. We have secured group
accommodation at the Champagne Sports Resort.

| TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS |
You are responsible for your own travel arrangements.
The Hotel can organise transfers from Durban International Airport to the Resort on request. |

| CLIMATE AND CLOTHING |
October is Spring in the Drakensberg and fair weather is the general rule.
Cooler days can be expected and thunderstorms are not infrequent. |

| REGISTRAR SUPPORT |
A R5,000.00 grant is available to registrars and young consultants (one year after registration) who
submit their original research as a free paper.

- 3. A claim for expenses (up to R5000) can be submitted to the congress secretariat
